Evapoclean allows acid or organic solutions to be evaporated, concentrated and purified in a closed setting, free from any exchange with the laboratory’s atmosphere. The maximum evaporation temperature, 250°C, allows the evaporation of acid solutions (HCl, HNO3, HF, HBr, HClO4) and a high number of organic solvents.
Evapoclean minimizes the emission of corrosive or toxic fumes into the air flow of the fume hoods. The decontamination of the air extracted from the laboratory to satisfy the standards for discharge is thus considerably reduced.
For analyses of trace or ultra trace elements, EvapoClean removes the contamination of samples linked to the air flow during an “open evaporation”.
EvapoClean procures very reproducible evaporation conditions. Thanks to its unique (patented) design, the samples are evaporated at a similar and reproducible temperature. The evaporation and dry up times are reproducible. Generally, this makes the redissolution of the sample matrices easier. For the trace and ultra trace elements analysis, it makes the recovery rates controllable and reproducible for all the chemical elements.
